PESTO HOTS
1/2 cup lightly packed fresh basil leaves, slivered
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1 garlic clove, minced
6 TBL mayonnaise
1 French bread baguette, sliced into 1/4" thick rounds

Preheat broiler. Stir together the basil, cheese, garlic & mayo. Arrange bread slices on a cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet under the broiler & toast the bread on 1 side. Remove from the oven, turn the bread over & spread each slice with a generous TBL of the pesto mixture. Return to the broiler. Cook until bubbly & lightly browned. Serves 10-12.
