Company Brunch Egg Souffle (don't let the souffle part scare you - it's more like a casserole to fix - very easy!)
4 SLICES WHITE BREAD
1/2 LB. SHARP CHEDDER CHEESE, GRATED
3 EGGS
1 1/4 C. MILK
DASH WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE (I like about 1/4 t. myself)
DASH DRY MUSTARD
1/4 C. MELTED BUTTER OR MARGARINEGrease a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Trim off bread crusts and cut bread into 1/2" cubes. Sprinkle bread on bottom of casserole dish. Cover with grated cheese. Beat eggs with seasonings and milk. Pour over bread and cheese. Pout melted butter over all. Bake at 300° for 1 hr. Serves 4-6. This dish can be prepared the day before and refrigerated --- just bake before ready to serve. Yummy!
