Stuffed French Toast

8 slices bread, cubed
2 (8oz.) pkg cream cheese, cubed
1 dozen eggs
1/3 cup maple syrup (Log Cabin will do)
2 cups milk

Put half of the cubed bread into a 9 X 13 in. baking dish; add cubed cream cheese and then the remaining bread cubes. Set Aside.

Combine eggs, syrup and milk in a mixing bowl. Mix well and pour over bread and cream cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!

Bake at 375 for 45 to 50 minutes. It will be a beautiful golden brown when it is done. Do not overcook. Cut into squares. Serve with fresh fruit and dust with powdered sugar. Add butter and more syrup.
