Alan Jackson's Chocolate Sheet Cake

Desert/ got this one from a Parkay package
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup water
1 cup Parkay soft marg. (divided)
1/2 cup veg. oil
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa (divided)
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla (divided)
1 tsp. cider vinegar
6 Tbs. Milk
1- 16 oz. pkg. powder sugar
To make cake: In large bowl sift together flour, sugar, and salt. In sauce pan, over medium-high heat, heat water, 1/2 cup margarine, oil and 1/4 cup cocoa to a boil, stirring constantly; pour into flour mixture, stirring until smooth. Blend in buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, 1 tsp. vanilla and vinegar until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F. for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
For Frosting: In saucepan, over med-high heat, heat milk and remaining margarine and cocoa to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar and remaining vanilla until smooth. Immediately pour over cooled cake. Cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
