Gingerbread

List of Ingredients

1 c butter softened
1 c brown sugar
1 c molasses
1 c boiling water
4 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t ginger
1 t allspice

Recipe

Place butter, brown sugar and molasses in large bowl. Add boiling water and stir until butter is melted. Add
eggs and mix until well blended. Place dry ingredients in a separate large bowl and blend with a whisk. Add
dry ingredients to butter mixture and mix until the batter is smooth. Bake in greased and floured 9"x13" pan at
325* for 50 - 60 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream.
