Tomato Soup Cake

1/2 cup butter or marg.
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 cup raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. hot water
10 oz. tomato soup

-preheat oven to 350
-Cream butter and sugar in bowl, add eggs and beat well.
-Measure flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, raisins in seperate bowl - mix.
-Mix baking soda with hot water. Stir in tomato soup. Add to butter mixture in 2 parts alternately with flour mixture in 3 parts, beginning and ending with flour.
-Scrap into 9x13 inch greased pan.
Bake for 35-45 min.
