REESE'S COOKIES

Most households contain at least one person who's a certified Reese's

Cup fanatic. These chewy cookies are like a dream come true for those

folks, so you'll want to supervise their cookie intake. Makes about 4

dozen. Per cookie: 180 calories, 9 grams fat, 19 milligrams

cholesterol, 15 grams carbohydrates, 1 gram fiber, 3 grams protein,

117 milligrams sodium.

2-1/4 cups flour

1/3 cup cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, at room temperature

3/4 cup peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

3/4 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs, at room temperature

10 regular or 20 miniature Reese's Cups, coarsely chopped

8 ounces chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda,

and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and sugars; mix

3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each

addition. Gently stir in Reese's Cups and chocolate chips.

Drop dough by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12

minutes. Cookies will look soft and underdone--do not overbake.
