Stained Glass Candy
2 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. light Karo syrup
3/4 c. water
1/2 t. flavoring
food coloring
2 T. powdered sugarRecipe
Spray cookie sheet with pam. Bring first three ingredient to boil. Once sugar is disolved, do not stir. Cook to 260*
then add color. Do not stir. Cook to 300*. Remove from heat. Add flavoring, and if it doesn't disperse, stir lightly. Pour
liquid out on cookie sheet. Cool 30 minutes and crack with the rounded end of a butter knife.
Coat with 2 T. powdered sugar to prevent from sticking.
