Bread Pudding
Preheat oven 350º
butter a 9x12 baking dish
Use 12 slices of bread (not fresh) remove crusts and tear apart, place in baking dish.
You can put some rasins in with the bread or some thinly sliced apples if you like.
(I use a blender for the rest)
Blend (or beat) 6 eggs until light
add 1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon (or apple pie spice)
Blend all this together and pour over the bread, it should be covered completly add more
milk if needed.
Bake 45 min, till top is lighly bowned. Pudding is firm to touch and a knife inserted in
the middle halfway comes out clean. You can top this with a lemon glaze
