Finnisy Pudding

1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
-Mix the above together. Put into a round deep baking dish.

-Mix in sauce pan over low heat the following
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
Pour this over the top of cake mixture and bake in 350 oven until cake is done (sorry don't have the time but you'll know when its done).
** Can top with cream or ice cream.

This is a recipe my grandmother made for Sunday dessert, my mother carried on the tradition.
