Frozen Dirt Dessert
3/4 cup margarine, divided
16 oz Oreo Cookies, crushed
1/2 Gal. Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
1 cup sugar
13 oz canned evaporated millk
2 squares (2 oz) unsweetened chocolate
8 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup chopped pecans
Melt 1/4 cup margarine and combine with crushed cookies. Press into 9" x 13" pan. Freeze until hard. Spread ice cream on top. Freeze. Boil sugar, milk, chocolate, and 1/2 cup margarine to soft ball stage (238 degrees on candy thermometer). Cool. Pour over ice cream. Freeze. Spread whipped topping over chocolate layer. Sprinkle with pecans. Freeze. Serves 12.
