here's another oneCOOL CUCUMBER PASTA
8 oz tube pasta, I use shells
1 TBSP vegetable oil
2 med. Cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 med. Onion, thinly sliced
1 ½ cup sugar
1 cup water
¾ cup vinegar
1 TBSP prepared mustard
1 TBSP dried parsley flakes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic salt (I use powder if I don’t have salt)

Cook pasta according to package, drain and rinse in cold water. Place in a large bowl; stir in oil, cucumber & onions. Combine remaining ingredients, pour over salad and toss. Cover and chill for 3-4 hours, stirring occassionally (if you put it in a bowl with a tight fitting lid, just shake it). Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield 8-10 servings.
