Spaghetti Sauce (my favorite)
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1 or 2 Tbls. butter or margarine
2 cans (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
1 jar sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic to taste
Saute onions and bell pepper in butter. Add hamburger meat, salt, pepper,
garlic and brown. Drain as much grease as possible. Add tomatoes, tomato
paste, and mushrooms. Simmer, stirring occasionally. The longer it
simmers, the better it is. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles.
