Barbecued Sandwiches
3 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. catsup
2 Tbsp.Worchestshire sauce
1 c.water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 t. salt
1/2t. pepper
1/2t. garlic powder
1 t. chili powder
4 LB. chuck roast (I have also used pork roast)Trim fat. Place all the above ingredients in a slow cooker. Mix well. Add the roast, cook on high for 6-7 hours. Cool remove the meat, shred, place back into the crock pot and heat thoughly. Use a slotted spoon to serve on hamburger bun. Makes 14-18 sandwiches.
