Broiled Pork Chops
1 large onion, thinly sliced into rings
6 thick pork chops
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 bay leaf
-Preheat oven to 350
Spread the onion rings over the bottom of a greased shallow ovenproof dish that is large
enough to hold the chops in one layer. Rub the chops with salt and pepper and place them
in the dish.
Mix together all the ing. for the sauce and pour over the chops. Bake for 1 hour or until
the chops are cooked through and tender. Discard bay leaf before serving.
