Here's a great one for dill pickles, if you like to make your own.

DILL PICKLES

Brine:

4 cups water
1 cup vinegar

Boil together and cool.

Pack in each quart jar:

1 tbsp pickling salt
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/4 piece bay leaf
2 cloves garlic
dill weed

Add enought cooked brine to cover cucumbers in sterilized jars. Seal. Place jars in canner and bring to a boil. Let stand in water for 5 minutes until cucumbers turn colour.
