Pickled Beets
1 #2 Can tiny whole beets
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon whole black peppers
3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon whole cloves
Empty beets into saucepan.Add vinegar and sugar. Stir gently until dissolved.Add bay leaves, pepper and cloves. Heat to boiling and simmer until beets are heated through.
Chill overnight in fridge. Drain well and serve. Will keep several days in the refridgerator
