Frozen Berry Salad
1 c. sour cream
3 oz of cream cheese
1/2 c.sugar
1 16 oz. can of the whole cranberries (Not jellied)
1 8oz. can of crushed pinapple
1 8 oz. contaniner of Cool Whip
Mix the first three ingredients and fold in the remaining ones. Put this into a pyrex pan, the size according to how much you make, and freeze. It should be about 1 inch thick...take it out of the freezer about 10-15 before serving, and cut it into squares. You still want it frozen, but thawed just a bit to cut.
When I made it, I doubled the recipe...I used the whole 8 oz. package of cream cheese.
I only used 1 can of the cranberris...I bought 2, but as I was making this, I thought one
was enough. Use your own judgement. I have made this several times now, and it is very
good.
My friends says it is equally wonderful with raspberries or strawberries.
