Beer Cheese Soup


1 Tbl butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. worchestershire sauce
Melt butter in soup pot, add onion,garlic and worchestershire sauce. Saute a couple of minutes. Add
1 12oz can beer
Bring to boil and boil 3 minutes. Add
1 15oz can chicken broth, bring to boil. lower heat and add,
1 pkg. broccoli and cauliflower
Simmer until the veggies are cooked through, add,
3 tbls cornstarch mixed with 3 tbls water, stir into mixture and then stir in,
2 cups half and half
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
Add salt and pepper to taste.
