Tricia's Chedder/Bacon 'Tato Soup
The best potatoes to use (if available in your area)
are Yukon Gold potatoes. A 5lb bag. Peel and cut into
small chunks. Boil in salted water until done but not
mushy. Empty water and add about 1/4 gallon milk, 1
bag chedder cheese, 1/4 cup shredded pepper jack
cheese, salt & pepper to taste, and lots of cooked
crumpled bacon (use what ever amount you prefer, I use
the whole package). To thicken soup add 1/4 cup flour
to 1 cup cold milk and add to mixture. Simmer for at
least 1/2 hour to give flavors time to mix. Hope you
