Run System Tools From
The Command Line

I like to run applications directly from the Run command line. If you have an extended keyboard you can hold down the Win Key and hit the R key to launch the Run Box  then type in the application's .EXE file name that   you want to run. Try typing WINWORD. If you have MS Word installed it will launch.

To find System Tools application files go to C:\Windows\ and C:\Windows\System select View->Details and sort by Type then look for the .EXE   extensions.

Here is a list of System Tools that you can launch from the Start->Run Box (both upper and lower case work)

DEFRAG - Defrag

RSRCMTR - Resource Meter
CLIPBRD - Clipboard viewer
AWSNTO32 - Send Fax (Ms Fax)
NOTEPAD - Notepad
WRITE - Wordpad
MSPAINT - MS Paint
CALC - calculator
