JohnCo. Search Machine 1.5

Here's a neat little app written by my son John. It is a search engine which allows you to search  directly from your Desktop, or anywhere else using a variety of the top search engines. I use it when I'm surfing with IE 5 as it very quickly allows me to change search engines. It is also great when you are working from Explorer, OLE, Netscape or to launch a search right from the Desktop or an application. Whether it is information you want, mp3s you are looking for, or quick access to a URL or shareware/freeware site this little app will find it quickly and without having to launch your browser first. You can also save up to nine of your favorites URLs for quick access.

I suggest that you download and unzip the file into a folder. Then make a shortcut of the file JSM.exe to your Startup Folder. Open the Shortcut with a right click and select Properties and then set the Run command line as "Minimized". Now the program will sit in the Taskbar and is ready to use. Clicking on the Taskbar button opens and minimizes it as you need. Try it and I think you'll really come to appreciate it's speed and versitility.
