Hi, My name is Harry O.
My son John had been working with Front Page 98 for a couple of years. He challenged me to create a webpage of my own. I thought I should quit being a chicken and tried building a Website myself. This started out as something to do on a Sunday afternoon. I never realized how many folks would stop by to visit. Since then my wife Caroline has joined us in our love for computing. I'm no computer tech I'm just a home user who enjoys computing. Through all of the mistakes I've made I've learned a lot about trouble-shooting my system. Microsoft supplied the venue.... namely Windows 98, I supplied the problems, usually my fat fingers but with some common-sense, a bit of luck, and the experience of people in many of the news groups, I've gotten my system to run very well. Hopefully the site will be helpful to folks, like me, who are looking for simple answers to common problems.
I was a dedicated Macintosh user for a number of years but switched over to PC about 4 years ago. I had no idea what I was in for 8^). At first I questioned my sanity in making the move. But today I can say with absolute certainty that I would not switch back to Mac. PC's are just too much fun!
