Its a bit messy but this works. You will need to remove the sublist.dat and
.nch files for the newservers and then you will have to resubscribe to the
newsgroups you want to visit again.

Use Find files to locate sublist.dat. These are usually in a folder called
something like C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\News\<name of server> . Click once to highlight the sublist.dat for
the server you want to remove and then go to File and select "Open
containing folder". In the folder you will see sublist.dat, several .nch
files and grplist.dat.
Delete the sublist.dat and .nch files but keep the grplist.dat so you don't
have to download the list of newsgroups from the server again (a real time
saver). You will then have to go back and subscribe to the groups you want
to view again.
