Spinach Balls
2-10 ounce packages frozen chopped spinach
3-cups Pepperidge Farm Italian style stuffing, crushed
1 large onion chopped fine
4 eggs well beaten
1/2 cup(1 stick) melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup finely grated fresh parmesan cheese
1-1/4 teaspoons of garlic salt
Cayenne Pepper to taste.
Preheat oven to 325.Butter a baking sheet.
Cook the spinach as directed on package. Squeeze out liquid.
Place spinach in a large bowl, add stuffing, onions, eggs. butter, cheese,
garlic salt, and cayenne pepper, mix well.
Form into 3/4 inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes, until
golden brown.
They may be frozen before baking, but then require 25-30 minutes baking time.
You can substitute other herb stuffing.
