Apple Walnut Cake
4 c. peeled, cored sliced apples
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 c. flour
1 cup oil
1 t. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 t. vanilla 2 c. sugar
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. soda
Preheat oven to 350°.
In large mixing bowl combine dry ingredients. Add vanilla, eggs, and oil, mixing
well. (I use my hands as the mixture is very stiff almost like bread dough)
Add apples and nuts.
Press into 9x9 pan and bake for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes
out clean. (May need to bake longer depending on how juicy apples are)
I have also done this as a bread.
