Brown Sugar Caramel Frosting
1/2 C. butter
1 C. brown sugar
1/4 t. salt
1/4 C. milk
1 3/4 to 2 C. powdered sugar
Melt butter. Add brown sugar. Cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
Cool. Beat in powdered sugar until the frosting reaches a spreading consistency.
