Crumb Cake

Mix until crumbly-
2 cups flour
3/4 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
Measure and save for the topping 1 cup of the crumb mixture.
Add to the remaining mixture-
1 egg
1 cup sour milk (or 1 cup sweet milk with 1 tbsp lemon juice added)
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins
Beat well, put in a greased and floured 8 inch square pan, sprinkle on the crumbs for the topping and bake for 50 minutes at 325 degrees
