Fresh Peach Cake with Vanilla Butter sauce

3 egg, beaten
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 med. fresh ripe peaches -
peeled, pitted and sliced
1/2 cup chopped pecans


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease
and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
2 In a large bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, oil, flour,
salt, cinnamon, baking soda, peaches and peacans. Mix
thoroughly by hand.
3 Pour into prepared 9x13 inch pan and bake at 375
degrees F (190 degrees C) for 50 minutes or until done.
Cool cake for 10 and spoon on Vanilla butter sauce---

Vanilla Butter Sauce

1 cube of real butter (edit: 8Tbs.)
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup canned milk (evaporated milk, not condensed)
1 tsp. vanilla

In a small saucepan bring all except the vanilla to a boil, and simmer for 3 min. Add vanilla

This is really really good~~~~~the sauce sinks down into the warm cake. You can serve it with a dollop of whipped cream, or ice cream, but it's really not needed.
