Mandarin Orange Cake
Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg 1 small can Mandarin oranges
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons butter
Prepare
mix flour, soda, sugar& salt. add egg & the juice from the can of
oranges. fold in the oranges & bake in a pammed 8x8x2" pan @ 350 for 35
min. bring the brown sugar , milk & butter to a boil & pour over the
cake when it is taken out of the oven. ( prick holes in the cake with a fork so
it soaks in better.) The cake always sinks in the middle.
