Praline Graham Treats
you just take a cookie sheet and line it well (over the edges) with aluminium
foil. Break graham crackers into the little rectangles and place on the cookie
sheet as close together as you can get them.
Chop pecans about 1 cup or so and spread evenly over the little pieces. Then get
a good heavy cooking pan and put in 2 sticks of butter and 1/2 cup of brown
sugar. Let come to a good boil and boil for exactly 3 minutes. Quickly add 1/2
teaspoon of vanilla...stir in and pour over the top of the graham crackers. Put
them in a preheated 350 degreee oven for 10 minutes and set out to cool. I put
mine in my 47 degree garage. They would probably set up ok at room temp, too.
After a while they set up when they are cool and you break them into pieces and
put them in an air tight container.
