Fresh Brisket

1 fresh brisket trimmed of excess fat
1/2 c grape jelly
1 c of ketchup
1 package of liptons onion soup mix.

mix the jelly, ketchup and soup mix, in a small bowl.
place trimmed brisket in pan. cover with mixture.
cover with foil.

now you can bake slow or a bit faster, so oven ttemp can vary. for a couple of hours, or till meat is tender, 350.
being it was cold in the house, i set the oven at 250, and cooked from 1-5pm
