Green Tomato Relish

15 large green tomatoes
6 large white onions
3 bell peppers, I use 1 red, 1 green and 1 yellow, for color
5 cups white vinegar
1/4 cup pickling salt
1 Tbsp celery seed
1 Tbsp mustard seed
4 cups sugar

Grind, grate or chop fine all the vegetables, add vinegar, salt , spices and boil 45min. Add the sugar and continue cooking until the mixture thickens. Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
