(This can also be done with chicken, or no meat at all)
1 med. cabbage, quartered, cored & finely sliced
1 bunch of green onions, sliced on an angle with some of the green.
1 sm. pack. of slivered almonds
3-4 Tbs. toasted sesame seeds. *see note for instructions
1 lb. (or so) of small shrimp (not canned) I use frozen.
1 package of Shrimp Top Ramen, uncooked.
Mix all together except for the uncooked Top Ramen noodles, and chill.
Now make the dressing~~
Wisk together,
2/3 cup Peanut oil (nothing else will do)
1/3 cup unseasoned rice vinegar (nothing else)
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbs. sugar
1 tsp. Accent
1 tsp. white pepper
Contents of the seasoning packet from the Shrimp Top Ramen
Chill till serving time.
Toss the salad with the dressing, and sprinkle some of the crushed noodles on
top of each portion.
Lightly toss again.

*To toast sesame seeds~ place sesame seeds in a small dry skillet, over med,
heat. Stir till very lightly coloured, and
remove
from skillet at once.
This takes just seconds, so don't take your eyes off them, or they'll burn and
be ruined. Been there, done that. :eek
BTW, sesame seeds are very expensive in the little bitty jars, and very
inexpensive in the cellophane envelopes where some spices can be found in the
grocery store.
