No I am not naked my tree is. Or at least the bottom branches are. Massi (aka nasty boy, aka Brat, aka little monster) has been stripping the decorations off the bottom and eating them so we have moved all of them up out of reach . He isn't interested in the lights (also off the bottom branches) or the tree itself just the ornaments. This is not the prettiest tree we've had by far.

LOL,Bug,at our house we can only put non breakables at the bottom because of the cats,for years we have an old set of Snow White and the 4 dwarfs,well thats all we could find overseas,anyway,the cats think these are neat and bat these around but never mess with any other ornaments,and the tree has never fallen down.

I'm really laffin too Tahni!! Can you believe she's talking about our little Massi?? Nooo way!!!! That cute little guy has a thing he does with his eyebrows, I can just see that Groucho Marx look, as he strips the tree!!

that sweet baby??? NO way Mama Bug!! You might try putting the tree in a
playpen. It worked for our 3 babies and several pets
We had a old wooden style one that we decorated with a twist of garland.
very festive.ROFLMBO!!

Be sure to take a picture of your "naked from the waist down tree " with Massie under it.
Trust me honey, it will be priceless someday.
I guess I was lucky, as my babies didn't like the tree prickles of the pine.

Bug...we were just talking about little creatures that get into the Crissy trees...like little kids, cats, dogs and others....it made me smile and I can just imagine what your tree looks like. Now where do I go to get a look at that youngin?

have dh make one of those picket fences to keep kidlets away from the tree. it's just fasten together like a screen, so it can be folded flat for storage.

Made me laugh too Bug, but also made me remember when my twins were Massi's age. We had to put a huge hook into a stud in the wall so we could wire the tree to it. THEN we put cement patio bricks on the feet of the tree stand, just so the tree would stay up. Can't even begin to tell you how many times we had to pick our decorated tree up off the floor, before we wired it to the wall! Good memories!

My DD used to push Danny into the tree because she said she was trying to
hang him on it.
Yep,we have done the playpen and hooked to the wall thingies too.

Well SHOOT! I was figurin there'd be a cute lil 'behind' pick of Massi naked from the waste down in front of the Christmas tree~maybe tryin to 'water' it just a little!
Glad I'm not the only one who's had to tie the tree to a nail in the wall.
Don't know what it'll be like this year with Sophia in the house. Naomi
never bothers the tree, but always likes to lay on top of the Baby Jesus
in the manger... Reckon she thinks she has to keep Him warm!
